Video: Sun MD (Blackbox) At Stanford
Today's video features the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) and its use of the Sun Modular Datacenter S20 (the data center previously known as Blackbox). SLAC was the first user of the Blackbox, which yesterday was rebranded as Sun MD. In this three-minute video, Chuck Boheim from SLAC talks about the center's work and how the Blackbox/MD has helped them expand their data-intensive computing capabilities.
For additional information, see our coverage of Sun's announcement of the Sun MD brand and new customers using the "data center in a box."
