Video: Google-IBM Academic Computer Cluster
Today's video profiles a joint project between Google and IBM to provide large-scale cluster computing resources to undergraduate computer science students. The first cluster has been created at The University of Washington, where students are learning to use the cluster to program applications for cloud computing and software as a service (SaaS). Students, faculty and engineers from Google and IBM talk about how the cluster is being used, and next steps in the project. This video runs about 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
