Brocade CEO Discusses Foundry Acquisition
Brocade Communications (BRCD) announced in July that it would acquire Foundry Networks for $3 billion, moving beyond its roots in storage area networking to take on Cisco in the Internet routing market. The deal survived the financial crisis, being repriced at $2.6 billion before closing on Dec. 19. In this video, Brocade CEO Mike Klayko speaks about the company’s motivations in acquiring Foundry and its expectations for the deal. This video runs about 3 minutes, 25 seconds.
