Here’s a roundup of news yesterday from the data center industry:
- Digital Realty Trust (DLR) said it has borrowed $96.5 million to fund the construction of a major single-tenant data center in the United Kingdom. The loan must be repaid wthin five years of the completion of the facility.
- The Japanese subsidiary of Savvis, Inc. (SVVS) announced that Nikkei Human Resources, Inc. has expanded its agreement with Savvis for the hosting of Nikkei Career Net.
- Rackable Systems (RACK) announced a partnership with NetApp to l integrate NetApp storage into Rackable’s built-to-order Eco-Logical data center server and infrastructure offerings.
