The Next Generation Data Center Conference was a busy event, and we have lots of additional coverage in the pipeline for next week. In the meantime, here’s some of the coverage of the show from other blogs and news sites around the Web:

• Bridget at SearchDataCenter.com writes about the presentation on “Cloud Computing and the Data Center of the Future” by Sam Charrington of Appistry. The story looks at app mobility and jumping clouds. Other coverage included a roundup of the keynote from Simon Crosby of Citrix Systems and a post-mortem summarizing the event.
• InformationWeek covered a talk on virtualization and standards from Winston Bumpus, director of standards architecture at VMware.

• Dan Kusnetzky, who moderated the Virtualization 2.0 panel, writes at ZDNet that LinuxWorld/NGDC is a show in transistion.
• The TreeHugger blog provides a summary of Tuesday’s presentation from the Rocky Mountain Institute on eneregy efficiency in data centers (link via Green Daily).
