1 Billion Pages A Month for Facebook App
High Scalability has a look at Bumper Sticker, a Facebook application running on Ruby on Rails receiving 1 billion page veiws per month that is being supported by Joyent. As usual, Todd Hoff pulls together resources on the software and services involved in scaling the appplication. High Scalability previously profiled Friends for Sale, a RoR-based Facebook app getting only 300 million page views a month. These apps are being cited to counter questions about the scalability of Ruby on Rails.
