The Data Center Energy Summit organized by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group featured some interesting case studies and reports (including both the Data Center Chill-Off and Accenture Update on the EPA energy study). Many participants expressed optimism that the information sharing and brainstorming at the event were a sign that the major data center players are making progress in working together to address the industry's energy efficiency challenges.
