Roundup: Peak 10, Newport, Eaton Corp.
There have been a number of announcements of new data centers, leases and product announcements this week. Here’s a roundup:
- Landmark Digital, which develops audio recognition products and services, has taken 10,000 square feet of space in a Peak 10 data center in Nashville.
- The Newport Group said this week that it has built a new data center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Newport process personal and financial data for 400,000 participants in more than 2,100 retirement and benefit plans. The company didn’t provide any additional details about the new facility.
- Eaton Corporation today announced the availability of the new Powerware BladeUPS Maintenance Bypass Cabinet (MBC). Information Technology (IT) and facilities managers can now integrate power transformation, power distribution and maintenance bypass into a single cabinet.
