Once again, "do more with less" will become the mantra of executive management to IT professionals (not really a big change from the original mantra of "Do more with the same"). To help alleviate the burden associated with some of the common, time-consuming manual processes associated with systems management, data centers will greatly benefit from an automated, probabilistic approach to managing complex applications as a way to help reduce IT costs without having to lose valuable IT staff. By essentially changing IT Systems Management methods from firefighting to preventative, significant dollars will be saved.
