• Yahoo Turning to AOL As White Knight?

Two updates on the takeover front that could have implications for the data center industry:

The Time of London is reporting that Yahoo! is seeking to restart merger talks with AOL as a means of defending itself against the $45 billion bid approach from Microsoft.

This weekend’s rumor mill also featured reports that Salesforce.com may be shopping itself to Oracle for $75 a share. Salesforce Times has links to all the blogospheric conjecture on this report. As always, take both of these with a liberal helping of salt.
