Peak 10 to Build Nashville Data Center

Peak 10, Inc. will build a second data center in Nashville, Tenn., which will add 40,000 square feet of space to support its growing customer base in the city, the company said today. The project continues the steady expansion of facilities for Peak 10, a regional data center services provider focused on markets in the Southeastern U.S.

"As part of our successful business model, we are continually investing in our infrastructure capabilities to serve our growing customers needs," said Ken Nelson, vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Nashville, who sasid the company has pursued a "relentless focus on enhancing infrastructure and customer support."

The new data center builds upon Peak 10's acquisition of Nashville's Rentech last summer, which included the company's facility and a client list featuring Rivals.com, Bondware, IASIS Healthcare, Country Wired and Resource Communications Group.

Peak 10 has also expanded its facilities in Raleigh and Jacksonville this year, and in February acquired Richmond, Va.-based colocation provider baymountain. The company also has facilities Louisville, Ky.; Tampa and Charlotte, N.C.
