Data Center Robot in Action

Germany's DLR National Satellite Data Center uses robots to automate the center's extensive storage archiving duties.

Because of high storage requirements and the increasing volume of data , storage is managed by fully automated archiving systems. DFD's networked robot archive currently holds 60 terabytes of data, with a capacity of 1,000 terabytes of data.
