Internap Opens Seattle Expansion Space
Internap Network Services (INAP) has opened of its newest data center in Seattle, a 10,000 square foot facility at the Sabey Intergate campus designed for high density computing. The data center includes expansion space for up to 40,000 square feet to accommodate customer growth, making it Internap’s largest facility. The space will be used for colocation and network services and access to Internap’s content delivery network (CDN).
Current tenants include Flying Lab Software, a Seattle-based game development company, which will host its massively multiplayer game (MMORPG) Pirates of the Burning Sea in the new data center. “Internap’s newest world-class facility in Seattle is a critical component of our operations,” said Jeremy Noetzelman, director of operations for Flying Lab Software. “The high-powered connectivity Internap provides, in addition to its scalability, speed and reliability, ensures our gaming business will be able to expand.”
