Iowans Yearn to Be 'Nooglers'

The new Google data center in Council Bluffs, Iowa has generated a lot of interest in the company’s plans to hire local workers and contractors. The Daily Nonpareil of Council Bluffs has a story about Google’s hiring and workforce development, including the fact that new employees are known as “Nooglers.”

Google has set up an area of its web site to provide information about the Council Bluffs project for job seekers and vendors, including an FAQ. If you’re interested in positions elsewhere in the industry, check out out Data Center Job Board for openings for data center professionals at Citigroup, Lowe’s and other enterprise companies.
