Google's Green Group Targets Power Supplies

The Climate Saver Computing Inititive is making the public case for more energy-efficient power supplies.

Another day, another high-profile corporate green computing announcement. Today's unveiling of the Climate Savers Computing Initiative was jam-packed with A-list industry heavyweights including Google, Intel, Dell, EDS, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, PG&E, and the Environmental Protection Agency. The group's mission is to "brings together industry, consumers and conservation organizations to significantly increase the energy efficiency of computers and servers."
