Red Herring has an article looking at startup companies focused on energy efficiency in data centers [1], with the hook being that these companies are likely to benefit from the visibility of IBM’s Big Green [2] initiative. An excerpt:
No one really knows how big the market is for so-called green data center technologies, but corporations spend tens of billions of dollars a year on data center processors, networking gear, cabling, cooling systems and other equipment that can be made more efficient
