Internet infrastructure provider Terremark Worldwide, Inc. (TWW) will switch its stock listing from the AMEX to the NASDAQ Global Market, the company announced today. Shares of Terremark will begin trading on NASDAQ in May with the symbol “TMRK”. The company’s common stock will continue to trade on the AMEX under the symbol “TWW” until the market close on the day before trading commences on the NASDAQ.

“We believe the move to NASDAQ will improve the visibility of our stock, enhance trading liquidity in our shares, and provide Terremark with greater exposure to institutional investors,” said Manuel D. Medina, Chairman and CEO of Terremark Worldwide, Inc.

Terremark Worldwide, Inc. operates the NAP of the Americas in Miami and is in the process of a major expansion that will include new data centers in northern Virginia and Silicon Valley.
