ColoSpace to open Sixth Data Center in Network

ColoSpace Inc. today announced the opening of the sixth facility in its New England data center network, located in Bedford, NH. The Bedford facility will serve clients throughout New England including Boston area firms seeking disaster recovery solutions. The site is 5 miles from Manchester Airport and approximately 55 Minutes driving time from Boston.

"The Bedford Facility compliments our Manchester, NH Data Center," says Wayne Sawchuk, CEO of ColoSpace. "We are nearing capacity in the Manchester Data Center and now have a second option for our customers similar to the Massachusetts facilities."

The new facility uses installed OC48 Fiber from Verizon’s multiple Central Offices, ATT and MCI. Replicating the recently opened ColoSpace Rockland, MA Data Center, Bedford will offer an industry leading 4 AMPS per square foot of electricity to accommodate dense computing power in preparation of blade server technologies.

ColoSpace is a leading provider of application hosting, colocation, and disaster recovery services in New England. Headquartered in Rockland, Massachusetts, ColoSpace operates a network of six Internet Data Centers (IDCs) throughout the region.
