Go Daddy [1]recently had a ribbon-cutting on its new Phoenix data center at 1402 E. Buckeye, a 270,000 square foot facility it recently purchased for $9.2 million. The site was previously owned by Sterling Properties, which runs the city’s major carrier hotel, the
Downtown Phoenix Technology Center [2].
“We look forward to enriching our relationship with the city of Phoenix and the chance to be a part of its development,” said Go Daddy CEO Bob Parsons. “Both Phoenix and Go Daddy are growing at a rapid pace. It’s a great fit.”
By specializing in discount Internet services, Go Daddy has grown into the largest domain registrar in the world and the largest shared hosting provider in the U.S. Since opening its corporate headquarters in Scottsdale back in 1997, Go Daddy has expanded throughout the valley with operations in Gilbert, Mesa and now a second Phoenix location. The company also has facilities in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
