<description>You should see TypePad tonight! All blogs down for hours, now achived copies are up but the last 5 days worth of posts are missing. The application has been down for hours as well.

This company keeps lying to its customers. It provides terrible service.

Is there any other service we could EASILY export our content to? (Provided we can get back into typepad to export them!)

<description>You at least have to appreciate Mena and Trent&#039;s apparent sincerity and their effort to communicate the details to their customers; I know of another blog-host site (a free one) whose attempt to soothe their users through the sharing of information didn&#039;t come until numerous people had exported their blog entries to other hosts.

Of course, a company that truly valued their customers would have included some sort of concession whether it was a one-time discount, a free month, or something!
